CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Today’s Children are tomorrow’s pillars of the church. Other than Sunday school and vacation Bible school, retreats for kids are being held. Children from the Church as well as kids from the neighborhood join together to worship and rejoice in the Lord. Every year free books are distributed to the less privileged children.

The Bethel Mission Children’s Home was started in 1993 in Robertsonpet, Kolar Gold Fields. Boys aged between 5 and 15 live here. Orphans and children with single parents who are unable to take care of them are brought to this Home.
The Boys are being provided with 3 meals a day with a decent menu. They are being educated in English medium private school. Most of the boys are good at studies and are tutored in the evenings at hostel.
Clothes, shoes, beds, bed sheets, plates, tumblers, slippers, toys and every other necessity is provided in this place to make them feel as belonged as possible and help them lead a normal life like other privileged kids.
They are brought up with the awareness of God’s love and are taught to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for the Blessings they receive in the name of the Lord.
Kannur is a small village in Karnataka were hardly 200 families live. The houses in this village have mud floor, walls and roofs made of hay. All of them work as agricultural labours and work in the surrounding palm groves for their livelihood.
Pastor Frank Godberg and Sis Gladys with a vision to reach the unreached set their feet in the village to poineer this Ministry. Pastor Siluvainesan, our missionary was sent to the village from the church to handle this home. They not only take care of the inmates of Children’s home but also the other poor children in the village.
The Children in this home were homeless and had no one to take care of them. Now, they are given good education in a nearby school. Clothes, meals and all the essentials are provided to them. All the kids are extremely talented and active. After a lot of hard work and prayers, the Lord helped us to build a structure which is also used as the Church building.
After the Children’s Home was established, poeple living around were curious to know more about why this ministry was being started, this brought in many souls to the Church, they thirst to know about God’s love. The Church is still growing spiritually and in numbers by God’s Grace.
Girl children have been considered taboo in our country from time immemorial. Some people who are unable to take care of them, leave the babies in Christian churches or garbage bins. This Ministry in Bangarapet was one of the earliest branches of the Bethel Ministries. A Church was established and is growing in the Lord.
Computer Institute
Free computer education is provided in the Bethel Mission Institute for the less privileged students. 200+ students have joined this institute and have been benefited through this scheme.
YOUTH MINISTRY
Young men and women have been of utmost importance. Special Youth meetings are held frequently. There is a teen choir in the Church led by Sis. Gladys. Young people are encouraged to lead the Praise and Worship. The Bethel Ministries also financially supports the young who are unable to continue their education due to lack of financial resources. Many youngsters have been benefited from this Ministry and have come out with flying colors.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Majority of the Congregation in the Church are women. Every year widows and poor women are given sarees, blankets or any household products.
CRUSADES
Once in 2 years until 2008, every Summer at Municipal grounds of Kolar Gold Fields, thousands of people were gathered to celebrate “JESUS FESTIVAL” with great music and Joy!
A public meeting conducted for 3 days to preach the word of God. The Gospel was taught through skits, dance, music and sermons.
Reports in the local newspapers said that this festival drew more crowd than any other events in the town. Praise and Glory to the Lord alone! Thousands of people come to know about the Lord and are Saved through this biannual crusade. The Lord has been gracious to provide us every time to conduct the meeting.
EARLY MORNING PRAYER
Psalm 5:3 – “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice: In the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
From 2009 onwards, every year in February, early morning prayers are conducted for 21 DAYS from 5:00 AM to 6:30 AM!
This special prayer meeting is also conducted on the 1st of every month.
The Lord has blessed many through this Ministry and no doubt, a lot have received miracles and thanked the Lord for all HIS mercies and GRACE. We are grateful to God for helping us and meeting all our needs throughout the past 13 years! Everyday after the prayer, hot beverages and breakfast are served.
People from various parts of Kolar Gold Fields and from various churches join us to worship and pray. For people commuting from distance, autos are arranged to help them reach the Church at the early hours. We thank God for all HIS greatness and love!
